I think I have found the reason for something that has been puzzling me ??

When I cook at home I sometimes use a small amount of fresh garlic with out too many problems. However, when I go out for Pizzas etc and have either garlic or pesto my taste/?smell the following day is awful. I now realise that the restaurants often use Garlic puree which may contain Potassium metabisulfate - a white crystalline powder with a pungent sulphur odour!
